Cookies

What are cookies?

Cookies are small, simple text files that are placed on the hard drive of your computer when you visit a webpage. These cookies can optimize your website visit. For example, your preferences are remembered so that only information that is relevant to you is shown. Another advantage is that you do not have to log in repeatedly or fill in the same information each time you visit a particular website.

Why do we inform you about the use of cookies?

On Tuesday 5 June 2012, the amended Telecommunications Act came into effect in the Netherlands. This means, among other things, that certain cookies may only be placed with the explicit consent of the internet user. Therefore, we inform you that our website uses cookies and what the reason for this is.

Google Analytics

With the help of cookies, visitor statistics can also be tracked. We use Google Analytics to gain insight into the behaviour of visitors on our website. Based on this data, we gain insight into the browsing and visiting behaviour of our visitors and can optimise our website for you where possible. The information that Google collects is anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address is not shared.

Accepting or refusing cookies

You can decide for yourself whether you accept or refuse cookies. Most browsers are set by default to accept cookies, but you can usually adjust your browser settings so that cookies are refused. For each browser and for each computer you must set this again. Instructions for changing the settings can be found in the ‘help function’ of your browser:

  • Google chrome
  • Microsoft 365
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Note: It is possible that some functions and services, on our website and others, will not function properly if cookies are disabled in your browser.
